Brag book

What is Brag book?

A brag book is a continuously updated collection of one's professional achievements: completed projects, metrics, positive feedback, awards and training. It serves as a basis for performance reviews, salary negotiations, job applications or promotions. A proven structure is situation, task, action and result. Only verifiable information should be included, and figures should not be embellished.

Text Generation

Text generation is the automatic production of text by AI, nowadays usually by large language models that calculate the most likely continuation word by word. It is a branch of natural language generation and a core application of generative AI. Organisations use it to draft emails, reports or product descriptions; facts and figures should be checked before publication.

AI-Assisted Content Creation

AI-assisted content creation means producing text, images or other content with the help of generative AI, for example for websites, newsletters, product descriptions or social media. AI quickly delivers drafts, variants and translations, while subject expertise, brand voice and fact-checking remain human tasks. Clear guidance on audience, tone and sources helps. Example: bullet points about a new offering become a draft blog post and three social media posts.

Natural language generation (NLG)

Natural language generation (NLG) is the area of language processing that produces understandable text from data, bullet points or other inputs. Earlier NLG systems relied on templates and rules; today most use large language models. Typical uses include weather and stock market reports, product descriptions, summaries of key figures and chatbot answers. It is important that figures and facts from the inputs are carried over correctly and unchanged.
